Industrial Engineer:


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Work directly with the manufacturing plants to improve the individual performance of each resource that is not performing to standard.
  2. Apply knowledge of industrial engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields.
  3. Champion new initiatives directed toward continuous improvements and cost reduction efforts.
  4. Conduct equipment utilization and capacity studies and provide recommendations.
  5. Provide leadership in the implementation of CFM/Lean Manufacturing techniques.
  6. Apply ergonomic techniques to improve the working conditions in manufacturing. Lead efforts to reduce equipment setup time.
  7. Other projects as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, and two years of experience in a food processing environment.
  2. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, SAP
  3. Working knowledge of cost accounting, gathering production information, and production scheduling.
  4. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication.
  5. Travel required: up to 70%
