Operations Manager :
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reports to Director of Operations.
- Responsible for all aspects of Processing Operations.
- Monitors operations to ensure facilities comply with regulatory agency requirements as well as producing products meeting internal and external specifications.
- Recognizes and takes steps to resolve all production problems in order to minimize their impact on the operations.
- Responsible for implementation and adherence to all prescribed budgets and strategic objectives.
- Prepares reports on expenses and production.
- Maintains consistent communications between supervisory personnel.
- Coordinates and schedules production employees to meet customer demands.
- Educates and develops plant personnel to build bench strength.
- Fully support the Gung Ho process.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Must have a minimum of five years management experience in a food processing operation.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Able to train and motivate salaried personnel.
- Coordinate and supervise all production functions.
- Be able to recognize problem situations and take appropriate steps to resolve.
