Community Involvement - Wakefield, Nebraska

Wakefield Heritage Organization:

Michael Foods donated items for the Old Fashioned Picnic fundraiser for the Wakefield Heritage Organization.

Baseball Events:

We donate eggs for breakfast at baseball tournaments.

Chicken Days:

We support Chicken Days with product donations. MFI eggs are donated for use in many of the events including the Egg Drop, the omelet feed at the local park, the eating contest, and for the 5K Run/1 Mile Chicken Walk.

Donate Eggs to local 4-H clubs:

We support local 4-H program by donating eggs for weekly Omelet Feeds during the County Fair. The Omelet Feeds are fundraisers for 4-H clubs and organizations.

Community Donations/Sponsorships:

$10,000 to the Wakefield Volunteer Fire Department
$4,000 to the Wayne State College Foundation
Annual donation to the local Red Cross donation
