MICHAEL FOODS AT 2013 ASSOCIATION FOR HEALTHCARE FOODSERVICE CONFERENCE
AHF Conference, June 4-7, 2013, New Orleans, Louisiana

MINNETONKA, MN – 23 May 2013 – The 2013 Association for Healthcare Foodservice (AHF) annual conference will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana. This conference is the only annual educational event dedicated specifically to self-operated healthcare foodservice industry. Members represent healthcare facilities that choose to keep foodservice departments in-house instead of outsourcing to third parties.

Conference topics will specifically address critical issues like financial savings, patient satisfaction, healthcare reform, technological innovation and food safety management.

Speakers include Chef John D. Folse, CEC, AAC, who's wide ranging work has included food manufacturing, catering, pastry making, cheese making, publishing and broadcasting. His eight cookbooks document Louisiana’s culinary history from colonization to the present. His PBS series, A Taste of Louisiana, has aired since 1989 and his NPR radio show, Stirrin’ It Up, since 1996.
