- Preheat oil to 350˚F.
- Secure hotdog and mozzarella cheese pieces with thick wooden skewers.
- Spread out hash browns on a baking sheet for ease of rolling.
- Dip skewered hotdogs and cheese stick into the batter, using a twisting motion to allow for better adhesion.
- Remove from batter and roll in shredded hash browns to evenly coat the batter, pressing gently.
- Immediately fry for approximately 3-5 minutes or until the outside is golden brown and the cheese is melted on the inside.
- Remove from oil, place on paper towel to drain, and sprinkle lightly with sugar and salt.
- Garnish with your favorite sauce such as ketchup, mustard, or mayonnaise.
